To all of Miss Brown's 7th grade and 8th grade ELA/AELA students...please be sure that you have turned in any unfinished work no later than Wednesday at 3:15pm.
I am Miss Brown. I teach at Valleywood Middle School. I graduated from Grand Valley State University in April 2007 with an English major and a Psychology minor for Secondary Education. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Education Technology at Michigan State University in 2011. I am the third of four children; two older sisters and a younger brother. My father, two older sisters, and my grandparents were educators, and I feel that teaching and working with students is my true passion and calling in life. I love teaching, and look forward to helping my students achieve all of their goals.
Outside of teaching, my time is consumed with church (exercising my faith as God feels fit), spending time with family, eating (whenever and wherever), the gym (to counteract the eating), and trying to stay in touch with friends that have moved out of state. My favorite show is Golden Girls, I love brownies, and (as the baby girl of the family) I am spoiled and I like it. I love to talk about myself, and I do not feel what I have written gives me justice. However, do not despair, I will gladly provide additional information about myself as time allows.
